1. Are all gauges the same?
Not all gauges are the same. Livorsi offers two types of gauges. Analog gauges or CAN bus gauges.
2. Do I need analog or CAN Bus gauges?
Analog gauges are used in standard applications without NEMA 2,000, SmartCraft, J1939, MEFI4b, or any other fuel injection computer protocols. If you are not sure if your engines’ analog senders will match Livorsi senders, it’s best to purchase new senders. If you do not have a CAN bus-equipped engine, we do not offer any conversion kit to upgrade to it.
3. Why should I install CAN bus gauges?
The advantages of using a CAN bus style gauge are that they are superior to analog gauges. These gauges will display exactly what the onboard computer of the engine is seeing. As a result, accuracy is improved, and the amount of data available has no limits. As long as the ECU supports it, the CAN bus Livorsi gauges will display it.
4. What will I need to install analog gauges?
All electrical analog gauges will require a DCH harness. On Mechanical gauges, the DCH harness is not required. You can purchase the Deutsch Connector Harness on this site, or if you have access to Deutsch components, you can make your own. Analog gauges also require anolog senders. Its recomented to install Livorsi senders for optimal performance with Livorsi gauges.
5. What will I need to install CAN buss gauges?
The Livorsi Vantage View system is a daisy chain or link-type system. The tachometer, being the brain, will have the master harness running from the CAN bus data input. Once that data is processed in the tachometer, it will simply daisy chain to each additional secondary gauge to display each gauge’s function accurately on each gauge as well as in the tachometer LCD screen. Truly a plug-and-play system.

7. Can I choose my gauge’s style and colors?
All of Livorsi’s gauges, CAN bus, or analog are available in all Livorsi standard colors. Multiple rim styles and colors are available for purchase on this site. If you need something more custom than what you see on this site, no problem. We can powder coat gauge components with the powder you provide. We can send you the components for you to paint and send back for assembly. If you want the logo of your boat, that can be done with the written consent of the OEM. 8. What gauge sizes does Livorsi offer?
All of the Livorsi gauges are available in industry standard and oversized sizes. Industry standard secondary gauges, 2 1/16” cutout or available in 2 5/8” cutout. Industry standard primary gauges, speedometer, and tachometer are available in industry standard 3 3/8” or oversized 4 5/8”.
1. Will a Livorsi LED light work with my boats factory wiring?
The key benefit of using LED lighting is the amount of light an LED can produce while using very little power to create it. A very small, simple LED light that is used in our nav lights has been Coast Guard approved for up to two miles.

The possible applications of Livorsi LED lighting is endless. We can use these for navigation lights, underwater lights, courtesy lights, hardtop lights, spotlights and the list goes on.
3. My boat is older and has Livorsi LEDNL2, I only see LEDNL3 avaiable. What’s the difference and can I ise LEDNL3 on my boat as a replacment?

When replacing a LEDNL2 With a LEDNL3 minor mounting hole modifications will be required.
The front mounting flange has not been altered so the original mounting location and hardware will fit into it’s original location
1. What style of mechanical controls does Livorsi offer?
Top mount, also known as performance style controls. Livorsi controls are designed for smooth, consistent operation and can be used in any mechanical application. Our throttles are compatible with both 33c and 43c cables. On this site, you will only find 33c applications. For 43c applications, please contact Livorsi customer service.
2. What configurations are available for the Livorsi mechanical controls?
The Livorsi controls can be configured to any combination that the operator requires. Left-hand, right-hand, forward, or backward cant handles. Livorsi controls can be used in any mechanical application. On this site, you will only see single and twin-engine applications. We can accommodate up to four engines and various configurations. 3. Will I need to change my control cables?
Livorsi controls utilize 33C type cables with the proper adapter on the motor can be used for any application.
4. Are all Livorsi mechanical controls the same?
Livorsi offers three different models under the Platinum Series line. Standards, billet, arched. Also, a note to mention, billet controls are available in bent or straight handles.
5. Are Livorsi mechanical controls adjustable?
The Livorsi mechanical controls come standard with infinite friction adjustment for throttles and infinite detent adjustment for shifts. See pdf.
1. What type of DTS controls does Livorsi offer?
Livorsi offers DTS controls in a standard top mount performance controls in three different models, and e also offer side mount configurations, in left or right-hand mounting. We also offer a “Hot Foot” DTS throttle. Please note that these will only work with Mercury Marine engines that are DTS compatible.
2. Are there options for a Livorsi DTS top mount control?
On a Livorsi DTS top mount performance style control, we offer three different models. Standard, QR, and QRM. The standard is your standard length available in all the Livorsi colors and configurations. The QR is the short lever DTS controls, also known as quick response. These are available in up to two engines; however, they can be applicable for three or four motors using the shadow feature. The QRM series is in between. The QRM, quick response medium height. It carries the same benefits and features as all Livorsi DTS controls. All the Livorsi DTS controls can be outfitted with trim switches. One, two, or three per throttle knob. The QRM has a stylish urethane leather-like insert for a premium look.
1. Does one throttle fit all?
No, they do not. Each electronic profile is proprietary to the engine manufacturers. Although these throttles may look the same, the operation is completely different from model to model.
2. Which Livorsi control will work for my application?
Each EEC throttle is explicitly programmed to the engine or the manufacturer’s specifications.
3. My OEM side mount throttle is non-functional, can I purchase a new one directly from Livorsi?
No, contact your local OEM dealer to purchase a new one.
4. Can I buy service parts for my OEM throttle and fix my throttle myself? I am an engineer and fully capable of the repair.
No, without exception, Livorsi does not sell throttle components for DIY repair. Thank you for your understanding
5. Can I send my OEM throttle to Livorsi Marine for repair?
Yes, we hate that you are off the water, and we will do everything we can to repair your throttle and get you and your family back on the lake. 1. What colors are available?
Livorsi marine steering wheels come in several different models, several different colors, and several different designs. Livorsi designed wheels to suit every application. We offer soft-touch painted polyurethane, vinyl-wrapped, and Alcantara-wrapped wheels. The wrapped wheels come in several different stitch color offerings.
2. Will a Livorsi steering wheel mount to my existing steering hub?

3. Will a Livorsi steering wheel kit work with my steering helm?
All Livorsi mounting hubs follow an industry standard ¾” tapered shaft with a key. In less common situations, if your boat has a splined hub, Livorsi wheels will still fit. 1. What are Livorsi trim tabs made of?
All the Livorsi trim tabs are made from CNC billet aluminum in the USA. All Livorsi trim tabs feature military-grade anodizing and come with powder coat protection over the anodize. All the fasteners and hydraulic shafts are 316 stainless steel, and the entire tab is protected with sacrificial anodes.
2. Can I use Livorsi trim tabs in a saltwater application?
Military grade anodizing gives the product extreme environmental protection and low maintenance. The sacrificial anodes are a service item and will degrade over time. Replacements can be purchased on this site under part number TTRAK.
3. Does one size trim tab work for all boats?
The Livorsi trim tabs come in several different sizes and widths, in addition to transom plate assemblies, which also come in many different styles and widths and can be interchanged all the way from the 750 series up to the 1850. 4. Are Livorsi trim tabs electric or hydraulically operated?
All the Livorsi Trim Tabs are hydraulic. They are operated by electric hydraulic pumps, three wire style, independent switching, have a normal operating pressure of 1,200 psi and have a blow-off pressure of 1850 psi.
5. What system voltages are Livorsi trim tabs
All Livorsi Trim Tab systems are available in 12-volt or 24-volt.
6. Will Livorsi trim tabs work on my boat?
Livorsi trim tabs can accommodate boats from 18 feet to 50 feet.
Livorsi also offers what is called a mega tab configuration. These tabs are commonly used on very large, heavy boats, are available in 1650 or 1850 models, and can also be used in single applications for a catamaran-style boat with a single center tab to improve or enhance plaining.
